Get Involved with Scratch Radio
Here's how to join up...
BCU Students
Why not come and see us in the Media Centre to get to know us all and tell us how much you want to get involved in Scratch? We're on City North Campus in the SU building.
Not at City North? Don't worry, drop us an email to apply@scratchradio.co.uk and tell us all about you!
You will need to join the SU Media Groups society, but we'll fill you in when you get in touch!
Community
Drop us an email to get involved at Scratch! We're really quite nice, so get in touch and let us know why you want to get involved in the station.
You can email apply@scratchradio.co.uk and once we've had a chat, why not pop down and see us in Perry Barr at Birmingham City Students' Union?
You don't have to be on air to get involved with Scratch...
Text: 'SCRATCH' and your message to 64446 (charged at standard network rate)
Email: onair@scratchradio.co.uk
So, you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Chris Moyles, Annie Mac or Chris Evans – well you’ve come to the right place.
Scratch Radio is your chance to get your voice heard across BCU’s student community and around Perry Barr. The station is run entirely by volunteers, so we’re always on the look out for enthusiastic new people to join the team.
Presenting »
If you’ve got a great idea for a show or just fancy trying your hand at radio presenting, Scratch is a great place to start.
We provide you with all the training you’ll ever need, so don’t worry if you’ve not got any radio experience at all. You will be fully proficient in using the studio and all the equipment before we let you loose on your own!
Email apply@scratchradio.co.uk for an application form and more information.
Crew »
We’re looking for open minded, fun loving people who can spread the message about Scratch and make the population want to listen.
We’ll kit you out with t-shirt and flyers and all the enthusiasm we can, then you’ll head out to let the Scratch ethos loose on the students of BCU!
If you think you’ve got the enthusiasm and energy to be the face of Scratch, head over to the Crew page!
Committee »
There’s more to Scratch than just what’s on air. We’ve got a committed team of people working to keep the station live and sounding great.
From technical to administration, there are plenty of things to do apart from being on air.
You can find more information about our committee online, or email apply@scratchradio.co.uk for an application form.
