So, you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Chris Moyles, Annie Mac or Chris Evans – well you’ve come to the right place.
Scratch Radio is your chance to get your voice heard across BCU’s student community and around the West Midlands. The station is run entirely by volunteers, so we’re always on the look out for enthusiastic new people to join the team.
Here’s how to join up…
It’s really simple, to be part of Scratch Radio all you need to do is drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We need to know:
- Your full name
- Your campus
- Your BCU email address
- And your mobile number
The other thing you’ll need to do before we can take your application further is to head to the Student Activities Centre on Level 2 of the Students’ Union Building on City North campus.
It’ll cost you £5 to join the Media Groups society, but that’s for a whole year and makes you part of Scratch Radio, TigerTV and Spaghetti Junction! Once both of those steps are complete we’ll be in touch.
Find out more information at bcusu.com and head for the ‘Media Groups’ page.
You guys are a bit different. We’re the only group at Birmingham City Students’ Union that accepts community members. Download and complete all parts of this application form, and email your completed form to email@example.com.
Please note we only recruit community members who live in the West Midlands. Once we receive your form, you’ll be invited to an induction meeting where you can meet the station management and have a look round.
From there, we’ll require £3 membership fee (although this only entitles you to membership of Scratch) and we’ll progress your application from there.
