Defeat despite performance

Scratch’s first time to interview AVL sadly saw them lose to top side Leeds. 1-4. AVL were the better team in the first half. Superb volley by Natalie Gibson had equalised for the home side after Leeds had a rare forray into the AVL half. A harsh looking sending off early in the second half dramatically changed the game.
Roy spoke to the scorer and manager.
